The enemy controls Star Spring with Fizz. I move Gem Jammer in as attacker and use focus to Ambush Nidalee, Cat Form. Can the enemy Gust Gem Jammer back before Nidalee resolves, making the Ambush illegal because I no longer control units there? What about Traveling Merchant's move trigger instead?
My opponent plays Mirror Image and chooses a unit for it to copy. I react by playing Retreat on that chosen unit. Does Mirror Image's reflexive trigger resolve or fail because the unit it referenced is gone?
So if im reading this right, as long as both sides have at least one unit survive, its no resault. How does this interaction resolve?
Carnivorous Snapvine targets a unit when its trigger resolves. A player asked whether Retreat on the original target lets Snapvine choose a different unit instead. If the original Snapvine target leaves play after being chosen, can it choose a new target?
Can I play Retreat if I control no friendly unit to channel 1 exhausted rune?
