If I control a battlefield and have Elder Dragon in play, does an enemy unit at Frozen Fortress automatically die or get trashed at the start of my beginning phase? What if my opponent controls the battlefield on their turn — does anything die then?
Player A controls a 2 Might unit at Frozen Fortress. Player B controls The List in base. At the beginning of Player B's Beginning Phase, Frozen Fortress will deal 1 damage to that unit. Can Player B activate The List before Frozen Fortress resolves, or is there no legal timing window before the battlefield effect happens?
At the start of my turn, a Temporary unit will be removed and Frozen Fortress may trigger. Can I use a Reaction to respond to Frozen Fortress or to a Temporary removal at the beginning of my turn?
