Can you react after an opponent plays a unit during a showdown?

Three showdown priority scenarios: 1) My Pit Rookie enters, I pass Focus, opponent Ambushes Rengar — does Focus return so I can buff with Punch First? 2) My Fiora attacks, I pass on her trigger, opponent Ambushes Rengar — can I Engarde in reaction to Fiora's trigger? 3) Opponent reveals hidden Tideturner swapping units — can I react to buff, or buff after they pass Focus?

You cannot react to a unit being played, but a chain is still created. Units finalize and resolve immediately. After your opponent's play resolves, Focus returns to you. On Fiora's trigger you pass Priority, not Focus — after Rengar resolves you get Priority on Fiora's trigger and can Engarde. With Tideturner, once that chain resolves Focus returns and you can buff or start a new chain.
