Can you play Sacrifice if your chosen unit is no longer Mighty?

They cannot play the spell if no valid Mighty unit exists. If they declared a unit and immediately realized the mistake, they can choose not to play Sacrifice. If they do not notice until Sacrifice would resolve, it is a General Error and is usually rewound to before Sacrifice was played.
