Does Rek'Sai's legend trigger resolve before the next showdown begins?

As Rek'Sai, I push units in to conquer. My opponent Ride the Winds their only unit to an empty battlefield, giving me the conquer there. Does Rek'Sai's legend trigger and resolve at that conquer before the next showdown begins? If a spell like Cull the Weak or Falling Star comes off the top, can I play it before the other showdown starts?

A new showdown cannot start before the current one finishes or while a chain is active. You conquer the battlefield, trigger Rek'Sai's legend, and can play the revealed spell. If you clear the unit at the other battlefield, that showdown never starts; otherwise it begins once the current showdown and chain are empty.
