Do Caitlyn and Soraka count as having the Backline keyword for targeting?

If a hypothetical card only let you choose targets with keywords, would Caitlyn and Soraka be valid targets even though they functionally behave like Backline units?

No. Reminder text is not rules text, and Caitlyn and Soraka do not have keyword abilities. They would not be valid targets for an effect that requires choosing units with keywords.
