Can you play a unit from Rek'Sai's conquer ability after Rek'Sai dies?

When Rek'Sai's conquer ability lets you play a unit "here," can you still play that unit if Rek'Sai has died before you choose what to play from hand?

Yes. "Here" is checked when Rek'Sai's trigger resolves, not at step 5 of playing the chosen unit, so Atakhan or other units can still be played even if Rek'Sai is gone by then.
