Does Hard Bargain counter an entire Repeated Existential Dread?

Repeated spells are one chain item. If your opponent does not pay Hard Bargain's energy penalty, the entire spell including both instances is countered. Repeated vs non-Repeated Hard Bargain makes no difference to counter strength.
