Can Diana Lunari's ability trigger if Moonfall pulls her into an ongoing showdown?

During an open showdown my opponent plays Moonfall and moves my Diana, Lunari from base onto that battlefield.

Does a new showdown start, and can I trigger Diana's effect?

The showdown already started, so Diana cannot use her effect if pulled into an ongoing showdown. Open showdowns turn into combat showdowns rather than ending and restarting.
