Does moving Lillia to base while holding start a non-combat showdown?

On my turn I hold a battlefield with only Lillia, Fae Fawn. I move Lillia to base and her effect creates a Sprite token at the battlefield.

Does that start a non-combat showdown, and if my opponent cannot respond, does that count as a conquer?
