Can bouncing Vex in response prevent her stun effect from applying?

Vex triggers when she stuns an enemy unit at a battlefield. If I bounce Vex back to hand in response to her trigger, does the stun still apply to the enemy unit? Is there a difference between Vex's "while I'm at a battlefield" wording and Sona's "if I'm at a battlefield" wording?

No. You cannot prevent the effect by bouncing Vex in response. The effect on the chain is "Stun it. They can't move it this turn," and none of it depends on Vex still being on the board at resolution. Sona's conditional is also only checked on finalization to put the trigger on the chain; "while" versus "if" is just templating preference.
