Can Soraka, Wanderer save another unit that dies at the same location at the same time?

If Soraka, Wanderer and another unit at the same battlefield die at the same time, can Soraka's effect save the other unit as well? For comparison, in a similar simultaneous death scenario with Karthus, Eternal and a Deathknell unit, the Deathknell still triggers twice — so is Soraka's case any different?

Yes. Soraka can save the other unit as well. Soraka's save and Karthus's Deathknell doubling are evaluated at different moments, but both occur before the units in question actually die — Soraka's effect is a death replacement effect, and a pending Deathknell trigger is not yet a death either. Comprehensive rule 373.2 outlines that Soraka saves units that die simultaneously with her at her location.
