Can Rengar Ambush onto a battlefield an opponent just left with Traveling Merchant?

The When I move trigger happens once the move is finished, so the unit is already at its destination (base in this example). A chain is open, but Ambush is no longer valid because Traveling Merchant is no longer on that battlefield.
