Does Moonfall still resolve if Janna bounces the attacker before combat?

Moonfall resolves but to no effect. Having a unit at the destination is a requirement to play the card, but once on the chain it resolves as much as it can. "A battlefield where you have units" fails, so movement and the -2 Might reduction do nothing.
