Can you hide a unit under Rockfall Path and later play it?

You can Hide a unit there, but you can never play a unit from that hidden card, so hiding a unit this way is discouraged. A disputed unofficial Chinese FAQ says otherwise, but the current community ruling follows the printed can't restriction until official guidance changes.
