In the first case the unit ends up at 2 Might because Watcher's reduction is snapshotted at -1 for the rest of the turn. In the second case the recruit ends at 1 Might: additions from Trifarian War Camp happen first, Watcher snapshots at -1, and the final Might is 1+1-1=1.
